Derby College offers a whole range of training courses for business. They provide a bespoke training package to create and maintain your sustainable competitive advantage. This can take the form of short courses, apprenticeships and NVQs and other industry specific training.

The University of Derby offers the Hot Prospects service which provides a recruitment service and access to the University's graduates including:
- Assistance with defining Job Descriptions and Person Specifications

- A dedicated account manager and online access to view progress with your account.
National Apprentice Service
This services' main focus will be to make it as easy as possible for employers to take on apprentices, streamlining the application process, and offering support and advice at every step for both the employer and learner.
There are a huge range of choices, with 180 Apprenticeships across 80 different industries.
